Angel

His mystery
His wonder
His light
His everything
Enveloped me
Wrapped me
Embraced me
And covered me
With all the beauty
All the magnificence
All the riches
All the essence
Of the world,
Of the universe,
Of his heart
And of mine
That which is naught
But a brush of his hand
A warm touch
A lasting sensation
That left me in awe
Of his mystery
His wonder
His light
His everything.

Girl on Fire

Her hair flowed like milk,
tentacles of hell,
Her skin once smooth as silk,
covered in cuts and scars,
Her light footsteps of innocence,
bringing doom and fear,
Her face of a goddess,
drenched in bloody tears,
Her soft hands of comfort,
held the dagger of death,
Her small luscious mouth,
thirsts for retribution
Her glreaming dark brown eyes,
spoke nothing but redemption
Her body of purity
burning in flames around her.
I start to wonder, "Who is she?"
I turned and looked at the mirror,
I saw it was me.

The Verity Beyond

She weeps not because she is sad.
She weeps because she is so mad.
She's not leaving because she can't hurt you.
She's leaving because she can.
She prays for you not because she cares for you.
She prays for you because of the sin she will do unto you.
She unsheathes a knife, and you know it's for you.
Yet to your surprise, she falls unto you.
She took her own life, not because she can't take yours,
but because she wanted to ruin yours.

Nex Angelus

Hush, don't say a word.
No one will hear it, not even the Lord.
Hush, and let it be.
You might regret it, you shall see.
Silence, don't move.
The wires wrapped around you won't approve.
Silence, don't be a fool.
There is nothing more that you can do.
Yes, I am the culprit,
The one who stabbed you and enjoyed it.
Yes, I have brought you to your doom.
Now, enter the world of darkness and gloom.

Salvation

When I fell to the ground on my knees,
with chaos ringing in my ears,
My Lord, my Savior, I thank thee
For You took me up and saved me.

When nightmares shattered my sleep,
with demons cutting me deep,
My Lord, my Savior, I adore thee
For you woke me up and saved me.

When the world turned its back against me,
with piercing words and gazes upon me,
My God, my Savior, I glorify thee
For you put your arms around me
and told me that you'll always love me.

Angel without Wings

She was an angel without wings
who roamed 'lone about the streets
with nothing but a can
and dirt on her hands.

Cars and trucks were here friends,
friends who'd lead her to her end.
Knocking on windows was her hobby
Oh, but how she wished she could study.

She'd walk all day,
she'd walk a long way.
She'd beg all night,
just to have something to bite.

Beside her sorows,
Behind her grief,
for every life she borrows,
she breathes a sigh of relief

Beyond the darkness
in the stillness of the night,
she whispers in silence,
"Everything will be all right."

Pandemonium

Once more I stand before the gates of hell,
Unknowing what awaits me on the other side.
I grip the rope tightly and ring the bell,
The gates open wide, beckoning me to come
inside.

A winding staircase I climbed down
In every step I took, my heart beat faster
With screams of my Mother coming from the ground
Followed by the resonating shouts of my Father.

But when hell is not like this,
A deafening silence envelopes me,
With a curtain of deceitful peace,
Sleep is unable to take over me.

This is my home, this is my life,
I’d rather end it with the edge of a knife.
